What Meet AI collects, why, and what happens to it. In short: we keep your account and payments, not your conversations.
1. Who processes the data
Meet AI is run by a private individual residing in Ukraine. You can reach us at elykapec@gmail.com — the same address for any question about your data.
2. What we store
Account: your email address, your name if you provided one, and a password hash. The password itself is stored nowhere — only an irreversible argon2 hash it cannot be recovered from. If you sign in with Google, we store your permanent Google account identifier instead of a password.
Purchases: amount, date, chosen plan and payment method, plus the payment note you write yourself — that is how we find your transfer among others.
License: the issued key, its expiry, a device fingerprint and usage counters. The fingerprint is a hash of machine characteristics (host name, system, CPU, network address); it exists to count devices against your plan limit and cannot be turned back into those characteristics.
3. What we do not collect
We do not store conversations. Audio is never written to disk; the transcript lives only in the memory of the app on your computer and disappears with it.
We store neither your questions nor the model answers. All that remains on the server is the processing cost in credits — what the tokens were spent on.
We do not collect contacts, files, browsing history or screen contents.
4. Who the data goes to
To transcribe speech and produce an answer, the app sends an audio fragment and the request text to model providers: OpenAI, Google (Gemini) and Groq. Only what is needed for the answer right now is sent; your identity is not, as requests come from our server.
When you sign in with Google, we receive a confirmation of your email from Google. Nothing is sent back to Google.
Beyond that, data goes nowhere: we do not sell it, trade it or use it for advertising.
5. Why we keep it
To fulfil the contract: issue your key, count plan limits and remaining tokens, answer support requests and confirm payments. There is no other purpose.
6. Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no cookies and carries no advertising or analytics trackers. Your session token is kept in the browser localStorage so you stay signed in between visits, and is removed when you sign out.
7. Where data lives and how it is protected
Data is stored on a rented server in Europe, accessible only to the service owner. Connections to the site and to the license server run over HTTPS only: the app refuses to work over an unencrypted connection at all.
The license key is stored in plain form — otherwise there would be nowhere to show it to you in your account. If a key leaks, revoke it in your account: bound devices are cut off immediately.
8. How long data is kept
For as long as the account exists. Payment records may remain after account deletion where bookkeeping requires it.
9. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask for the account to be deleted entirely. Write to elykapec@gmail.com from the address the account is registered to. We answer within 30 days.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes are announced by email to the account address.
